H&M Leather Skirt | BCBG Open-toe Booties Similar | J.Crew Denim Shirt | Ray-Ban Sunglasses | Michael Kors Cross Body Bag

I know that I harp a lot about denim, but that's because it's so universal! It can be comfy and chic at the same time. We all wear denim because it's just, well, ... easy! Denim shirts or pants go with literally EVERYTHING! We all have them in our closets, so let them be worn!

Leather has really made a come back in the past couple of years and now is almost as safe as wearing denim. My most favorite denim combination is denim and leather, and it's so easy to replicate.  It’s a fashionable and trendy combination that will always look effortlessly chic. You can just throw this look,  and look extremely put together. How do you wear denim and leather together?

There's something about Fall fashion that really gets me excited. Fall brings sweater weather, crunching leaves, crisp air, and pumpkin spice everything! The only downside to sweaters, scarves, and leggings while living in the deep South, is that it's still 90 degrees in the middle of October! Oh well, I will try my best to stay in season by mixing cozy sweaters with skirts and booties. I went for a more relaxed looked with these slip-on sneakers. Mine were bought from T.J. Maxx, but I have linked more similar pairs.   This H&M sweater is the perfect hue of red. I have always hated the color orange but I absolutely love the tint of this garment. It's the perfect mix. I also adore the bell sleeve detail.

My faux leather skirt is also from H&M. I really respect that they made this one with length in mind. I think it hits the perfect spot, and the high waist is great for showing off the waist line. I went a size up for length and less confinement.

Polka Dots are one of the most versatile patterns to wear! I love this pleated one from J.Crew Factory. I didn't want to over complicate my look so I paired my polka dot skirt with a denim blouse and tied it up to extenuate the waist line.  I also love to play with prints and mix these dots with my leopard flats- fun, yet chic.

Scale is key when mixing polka dots and prints. Once you have your larger, bolder print, be sure to pair it with a smaller, less dominate print. Two prints of equal scale will give your ensemble an overwhelming appearance and could be unpleasing to the eye. My polka dot print is pretty tiny, so they compliment my bold shoes.

The Anytime, Anywhere Blouse!

Style We White Blouse | Boyfriend Jeans Similar | J. Crew Factory Heels | LV Neverfull | Karen Walker Sunglasses

A white blouse is that basic piece that every woman owns, right? Could you wear one every day? It could get kind of repetitive using the same staple day after day, but it doesn't have to be.  You might actually find that you've totally been underestimating your LWT. Oh you like that huh, LWT? (Little White Tee).  Magazines have said it, a white tee, or blouse, is THE ultimate women’s staple. I love this white blouse from StyleWe! I paired it with my ripped boyfriend jeans for a more relaxed look. It has the perfect length cut in the front to hit your jean waist line exactly, so you don’t have to bother with the tuck. It also has a sheer tail that really flows when you walk. The cap sleeves are also perfect for those dressier days when you don’t want to expose your shoulders. I have the exact blouse linked. Jeans are similar.

StyleWe Black Lace Dress | Target Strappy Heels  | Tory Burch Purse | Dolce and Gabbana Sunglasses

The little black dress is really a wonder piece! No matter the season, a chic LBD can be worn for multiple occasions. Black is one of the most classic frocks, providing a blank canvas for the addition of statement accessories and adornments. I love this dress from StyleWe because you can wear it for so many different occasions! From a date night on the bay to a play down town, dress it up or dress it down. I paired my StyleWe dress with these red strappy heels from Target-simple and chic!

Proportions Made Easy

It's all about balance, and opposites always attract in fashion. If you want to wear something large and oversized, something smaller on the other end will always compliment it. Combine items that are "uneven in proportion to each other": Instead of two items that are the same length, look for  long and a short garments to put together. A shorter jacket looks best with a longer skirt, ect.  A sleek, skinny, mini leather skirt that hugs my waist pairs perfectly with a big, loose, chunky knit sweater!  See, proportions are easy!
Also, my new obession are stackable gold rings! These beauties are from Eternal Sparkle, and I swear I did not make that ring sparkle the way it did in the picture. No edits here, only true, gorgeous sparkle!

Dress and Booties - Blue Spero Boutique  | Cardigan Forever 21
I'm a sucker for dresses, even in the fall and winter months. I love to style dresses with booties, and these from Blu Spero take the cake. They are so unique with the slit down the side. The only downside is you may not be able to wear socks with these. Try some low cut bootie socks if you must.
I have died over this suede lace up dress from Blu Spero Boutique. It's extremely comfortable, cute,  and the lace up neckline adds a hint of edginess.  I styled it with a long cardigan form Forever 21 for a little more coverage during chilly weather.
hank you Blu Spero for this collaboration!

Wool Wrapped

Banana Republic Coat | Banana Republic Scarf |Tory Burch Bag Similar | Express Jeans | BCBG Pumps Similar | David Yurman Bracelets | David Yurman Ring

It's that time again when all your Winter coats start to reappear. I usually try only to buy one coat a year, so they have to be timeless. This wool wrap coat from Banana Republic  will stand the test of time. It is extremely classic.  I will be wearing this for winters to come. It comes in three exemplary colors, Grey, Olive, and my chosen color, Light Pink. Never once think you can't wear pastels in the colds months! Pastel colors are really in this season. Pastel coats in particular are the most wearable piece you could own this winter. The sweet pastels are the perfect solution to a brighten your day and fight the dreary winter blues.
You can dress this jacket up or dress is down. In my look today, I have made it semi-casual with my cut skinny jeans, pumps, and a scarf. My scarf is also from Banana Republic. The colors of the scarf coincide with the color of the jacket and they really complement each other. I could even see myself wearing this ensemble to a fancy night out with a black dress, tights, and some really big bling statement jewelry!
The color is gorgeous but I also would like to highlight the fit. This coat is not too tight, even across the shoulders where most wool coats tend to be. I also love the fit it because it ties and is highly adjustable around the waist. This coat can really bring out your feminine side with the  bow tie. I’ve already got a lot of compliments about this coat and now my mom is  wanting to borrow it for her trip to Washing D.C. in a couple of weeks.
