Banana Republic Skirt | Banana Republic Top | J.Crew Heels | Tory Burch Flemming Bag | Karen Walker Sunglasses

There’s something markedly sophisticated about a monochromatic outfit. Maybe that’s why many fashionistas look amazing in all-black outfits.  Don't be hesitant to attempt these looks.  Depending on the colors, monochromatic looks can feel super elegant and high-end. Monochromatic outfits flow nicely. They can even save you a lot of time when picking out an outfit- just match colors. One key factor to wearing one color well is to match everything together with precision like my Banana Republic combo. You can do this with ease when you buy both pieces from the same brand.

For this collaboration, I choose to go with this golden beige pencil skirt and a classic fit utility shirt. I love everything about this asymmetric ruffle hem skirt(on sale now)! The bottom of the skirt is certainly busy, so I paired it with not so busy pumps. The way it moves when I walk is to die for. My button-down shirt fits bigger than I would like, but I tied it up and it looks great! I like tying blouses with skirts because it shows a better shape around your midsection, and it adds that little something extra that your outfit may need.
Thank you Banana Republic for this amazing look!

From my closet to yours, thanks for stopping by.
