When I Googled the words "Why Wear Red?", this is what I found.

"Red dress effect. The red dress effect is a putative phenomenon in which people wearing red clothing, such as a red dress, are perceived to be more sexually appealing than they are when wearing other colours."

Wow, so why don't we wear red more often? Not just for sexiness. This red dress makes me feel powerful, confident, fearless, and pretty sassy. I feel like I can take on whatever the worlds throws at me.

A little red dress is a classic wardrobe item that can be appropriate for a variety of occasions. You don't have to be Jessica Rabbit when wearing red; just be aware of length, cut, and fit. I wore this dress to a professional event, and felt great in it! J. Crew factory has the best fit! This one fit like a glove (not too tight), and was the appropriate length! Plus, it comes in black and is on sale now!

If you want to wear a red dress, there are many options. Red comes in a variety of shades, so choose one that works for you.  As Audrey Hepburn once said, "There's a shade of red for everyone."  Pair the dress with accessories and makeup that go well with red. I am wearing Smashbox Ombre Red Lipstick, which I'm obsessed with, and I paired this dress with classic J. Crew pearls.

From my closet to yours, thanks for stopping by.
